Rolando Hyman

Rolando A. Hyman, BA, MA (Psych), CCC, has been providing therapeutic services to members of the community for over a decade. He currently serves as a contracted therapist with the Government of Alberta through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), where he supports individuals navigating a wide range of personal and mental health challenges. His therapeutic approach is grounded in a multicultural, psychosocial framework, allowing him to meet clients with sensitivity, understanding, and respect for their unique lived experiences. Rolando is also a verified professional on Psychology Today.

Deeply committed to community impact, Rolando is the founder, director, and lead psychotherapist of Therapeutic Intervention Psychotherapy Services (TIPS). He is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and continues his work as an EAP counsellor across Alberta. Rolando is especially passionate about helping individuals and couples rediscover their inner strengths, improve communication, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Rolando earned his Master of Arts in Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. Known for his dynamic and engaging presence, he regularly facilitates workshops throughout Alberta on topics such as anger management, parenting, substance use, and stress management. 

Provisional Psychologist

Alanna Son-Hyman

Alanna Son-Hyman is a registered Provisional Psychologist who enjoys helping children and youth overcome psychological and emotional issues related to conduct disorder, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive and stress related disorders. I am driven by the philosophy that every child, youth and adult have the potential to manage their symptoms with the right supports and expertise. If you are an individual struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction or a couple seeking to have a healthier relationship, I am excited to meet with you, to help you find the tools that is needed to achieve your goals.
As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I offer therapeutic supports in the form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy geared towards helping kids and adults understand how to manage their emotions, lessen anxiety and create a healthier mindset. I also utilize interactive and holistic therapy, systems therapy and Dialectic behavior therapy among others.
Adults/couples you are not forgotten, I am committed to working with individuals from diverse populations who are struggling with behavioral, mental health, and substance use. With years of experience in this field, I bring to my practice, cultural sensitivity, openness and inclusivity that fosters growth and recovery for every individual.

Registered Psychologist

Dr. Courtney Dookie

Dr. Courtney Dookie is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of extensive experience in the field of clinical psychology. He is registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and has established himself as a compassionate and skilled practitioner dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families throughout their mental health journeys.

Dr. Dookie holds a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, focusing on developmental trauma and psychological assessments. This expertise allows him to understand the complexities of trauma’s impact on emotional and psychological well-being.

He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica, which provides him with a unique perspective on spirituality and its role in mental health. Additionally, he completed a Master of Arts in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, equipping him with advanced skills in integrating spiritual care into therapeutic practices.
